Online searches for information regarding wedding products and services are increasing. Couples are looking for increased value at an affordable price.  When planning a destination wedding or enchanted honeymoon, how can you find bargains that beat other online offers?

OmahaBrides.com interviewed Lori Matthews, co-owner of www.enchantedhoneymoons.com for some surprising answers to our questions.

Omaha Brides: Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and with so much emphasis placed on the wedding itself, I would assume the honeymoon is either overlooked or left to the last minute.  Can this be the case?

Lori: Many times, that’s exactly what happens. Lori: That’s easy…Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun, and the Riviera Maya (The coast of Cancun).  These destinations offer good prices and flight times.  If a couple is looking for something a little different, they usually choose Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, or even Dubai. Here in the U.S. both east and west coasts are popular, and that includes California, New York City, and Disney World.

Omaha Brides: Lori, this all sounds great, but can a couple really afford to travel to these wonderful places?

Omaha Brides: When we first met, you mentioned a free gift registry.  Can you fit this feature into a honeymoon or destination wedding?

Lori: You bet.  Today more than ever a honeymoon gift registry makes perfect sense.  It’s so easy, when you come in just let your honeymoon consultant know you want to set up a gift registry and book your honeymoon. You will receive insertion cards for your wedding and shower invitations that include a toll-free number for your out-of-town guests.  One call to our office and your guest has helped to make your honeymoon a special event.  They may even personalize your honeymoon by arranging for wine or champagne in your room, a massage on the beach, or some other enjoyable event. However they decide to contribute to your honeymoon, your guests will receive a beautiful gift card to present to you at your wedding or shower.
