invarticles_270As online shopping increases so do the many products available to shop for.  Even wedding invitations are not immune to people looking for online bargains.  Yes, that’s right!  Something as important and intimate as a wedding invitation can be found and bought online and usually at better prices than you’ll find in the retail stores.

So when it comes to ordering your invitations how should you proceed?  To help answer some of these questions OmahaBrides.com recently interviewed Steve Bergeron, owner of www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com an online invitation store.

OmahaBrides.com – There seems to still be a stigma when it comes to ordering wedding invitations on the Internet.

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com):  I agree.  Not everyone is comfortable ordering something as important as a wedding invitation over the Internet.

OmahaBrides.com – Why is that?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com):  Well, understandably people want to touch and feel what they are buying.  The Internet does provide a picture but nothing tangible that you can make an accurate decision from.

OmahaBrides.com – So are people who order invitations online rolling the dice in hopes that they will like the product they will receive?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com): No you don’t have to roll the dice.  There are ways to ensure you’ll be happy with your product when it arrives.

OmahaBrides.com – Like what?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com): Most professional invitation companies will allow you to order free samples before you order the product.  You will receive them by mail in approximately 3-4 days.  In addition you can also request proofs to be sent to you via email to check all layouts and spellings before ordering.

OmahaBrides.com – How long does it take for a customer to receive their invitations once they order them?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com): Once an order has been approved it takes approximately 1-2 days to print the order and 4-5 days to ship.  Orders can also be sent overnight if needed.  Keep in mind though that before you approve your order you should be prepared to add a weeks worth of time to this process as you place the order and wait for a proof.

OmahaBrides.com – O.K. were starting to feel more comfortable with online wedding invitation ordering.  Are their more benefits?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com): Yes there are several.  First, you have access to almost every invitation available.  You are not just limited to what you see in the books at the retail stores.  Second, you can shop anytime you want. And third, you won’t spend the time and money on the back and forth trips to the invitation dealer location.

OmahaBrides.com – Would you like to share any advice when it comes to online invitation ordering?

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com):  Absolutely.  Most people that are ordering invitation are doing it for the first time.  As they dive into the journey it would be to the customers benefit to arm them with some easy to understand information and tips about ordering invitations.  We have provided a few helpful articles on my website that I have written specifically to help people during this process.

OmahaBrides.com – Thanks for your time Steve.

Steve (www.weddinginvitationsdepot.com): Cheers!
